Following our recent Ofsted inspection on 24th & 25th January, we are now able to provide you with a copy of the final inspection report.

We are pleased to let you know that Ofsted judged Dagnall to be a ‘Good’ school.

We know that our students are the best ambassadors for our school and we are thrilled with the very positive feedback about them including their attitudes to learning, to each other and to the wider community.

Throughout the inspection, they demonstrated our key values and we could not have been more proud of them.

Over the two days it was clear that we have a strong and collaborative community and a comment was made by the inspector that there is ‘one cohesive unit with the same vision and drive for growth and improvement.’

We know there is still work to do and improvements that we can make.

Those used to previous inspection reports will note how ‘concise’ this new style of report is. Inspectors have a strict word limit and very strict writing guidelines. However, I feel that it is worth sharing a comment made by the lead inspector to add a little more colour to the written report: ‘Warm, kind, positive and purposeful relationships permeate throughout the school’.
